Finale for blogging

These are somethings in my head to say about this course.

- At first, I have to confess that I take this course because of your teaching style(hahaha). I have learned with you (A. Cecil) in Reading in Business course that make me found the new way of teaching that differ from others Ajarn in ABAC. So i expected to get more fun and to know more in American culture with you.
- This is easy, relax and fun class. I can be what I am during the class. I can express my idea to friends in the class.
- There are a tons of movies you gave me to see and learn about American culture. That make me bored sometimes but this is the great idea of learning others culture with movies and song.

I wish all my class friends have a good grade for this semester. Good luck

** To A. Cecil, I knew that this is the last semester for you in ABAC. So have a good luck in your life. Enjoy the trip in China. ^_^

Once I was a child, I ever do like the child in the movie do. They love Christmas time and waiting the night that Santa will put a gift in thier socket. Have you ever?? I really sure you do hahah.

Actually Santa in this movie is a man who want to give happiness to children who have a nice behavior. So children try to be a good boy and good girl. The storytelling of Santa is one of the great American culture. Christmas festival can reunion family members similar to Chinese new year. It's a time of warm and happiness of every house.

There are many thing that related to Christmas such as Santa, snow, raindeer, star, beautiful light, gift and more..............

Saving Private Ryan : WW II

Do i love this movie? -- Sure!! this is war movie.

The plots of the movie is similar to Band of Brothers. One special soldier crew have do some mission that is bring "Ryan" back to U.S. because his two older brothers died in war. The government do not want Ryan's Mom loss her last son in the war anymore. But, Ryan do not want to back home. He want to stand still in this war.

This show that "family" is very special for American people. The U.S. government noticed that the lost of family members is unacceptable. It's can hurt them heart so much pain.

With Ryan perspective, he think that being a soldier is very important. He don't want to leave the war. He have to help others soldier fight. That is a soldier responsibility.

However, i wish there won't have any war happen in the future. No matter who you are, where you live, poor or wealth -- WAR can hurt us badly.

I would like to post one more song that is "I will follow him"

This song is starting from Gospel music. I love gospel because everyone can vocal perfectly. Then the beat of music is faster that excited me.

When piano sound comes along with the voice, it make me wandering. The lyric talk about Lord that lead her way so she want to follow him.

Actually Lauryn Hill is not a Gospel singer but she can do great.

Singin in the rain

I ever heard that this film is one of all time 100 movies. So I expected it's must fun and good for sure -- that's the way it is. The movie enjoy me for more an hour.

It shows an innovation of silence movie to sounded movie by using microphone hide in any place to record the sound. In the movie, also have many beautiful jazz song, espeacially "Singin In The Rain". It is a classic song that main actor sang while it was raining. There was many dancing in the movie as well.

The plot of this movie is a great actor fell in love with one girl who good in dancing and singing. He try many ways to get her heart. Finally they are engaged.

Happy Ending

Ma Barker

It's a black&white movie (film noir) that show one woman life named Katherine Clark Barker. She has three sons and she teach them being a murderer, kidnapper and robber since they was a child. She and her sons did a sadly crime for two decades. She never was once arrested. Until one day, police try to arrest her at her house. Police can do it with gun fighting.

I never though that she can do those thing without mercy. She seems came from underworld. Her behavior is not a human being. "Shoot him" is the word that she always cames from her mouth. I guess she did like that because of there were economy crisis during the period. She must do anything and anyway to get the money. But the way she did is such ashame.

Sometime Money is God. Do you agree with me????

Long Walk Home

From this movie I can feel how Black people feel. I am so emphathy with them from the way that white people treat them badly. It's was an inequity in society. The black housekeeper must walk to work in the long way and also back home even there was raining. This causes from black people boycott to take a buses. Her feets got hurt from walking too long. When there was no seat in the bus, black people have to leave and sat in the back. It's unfair.
I think a discrimination in race is not good. Any race have the same human being. We must not look down other from their color. Because "GOD SEES NO COLOR"
