W.Lee O'Daniel, known as "Pappy" is the person who make the big move in America music industry. At first he was a sales manager but soon he took over the company's radio advertising. He set the first country music program in America.
Moreover, he hosted the show and organized namy bands and musicians such as Bob Wills, O'Daniel band.
After the succeed in music industry, he decided to join the election as one of the a Texas govenor contestants. He got many vote from his radio fans so he won the election to the United States Senate in one of the most controversial elections in Texas history. When the years term was over, he did not join in second time but put more effort in his business instead.
Then he attemp two comeback at the governorship, But he attracted few votes. He died in 1969
